MCC Quezon City Payatas Feeding Program
This is an outreach program of MCCQC for the pupil with disabilities at the Payatas Elementary School. Pupils are mentally challenged, live with autism, and some are deaf.
Since June 2007 until June 2009 including relief operation from the typhoon Ondoy, we decided that these wonderful children will be our outreach program.
In June 2008, with Rev Elder Ken Martin, we gave school supplies to this gifted children.
We are very happy to give something to this kids because they are sweet and lovable, thus this Christmas Party!
For we believe that even though we don’t have anything we can still give something to anyone in need. We also adhere to the knowledge that being gay is beyond our sexuality. It is more on giving to children that are outcasts and marginalized. We believe that we are blessed because we give something for those who can not have everything. We are thankful for this kids because they give us the hope and inspiration to work hard to spread the ministry to all people.
Next year, June 2010, we are planning to give school bags and school supplies again. We will start collecting again every Friday Bible Study meetings and Sunday Worship Services.
We are working on tapping some organizations and business establishments to help us this outreach.
